She made her name known by appearing in commercials for the clothing brand 'GUESS'. The first film she appeared in was the horror flick 'Turistas'. She rose to prominence in the second decade of the 1990s. Her first appearance was with GUESS in the latter part of 1990. She currently is a spokesmodel for Revlon cosmetics, along with Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Connelly and Jessica Alba as well as modelled in Double D Ranch and CosmoGirl. Garrett was a lead actress in the Crossfade "Cold" music video. From the beginning in her professional career she made appearances in various television programs.
